  • Act as primary liaison between field sales force and Internal Operations to define inventory needs for new and existing distribution opportunities and work with Sales Managers to Optimize Field Instrument and Implant configurations. Gather required raw data for forecasting, planning and logistical management of complete inventory needs for assigned region.
  • Drive demand generation process for new and existing distribution opportunities and co-ordinate with internal teams to ensure inventory needs for new opportunities are filled in a timely fashion
  • Develop and distribute inventory scorecards and metrics to track inventory efficiency and performance at revenue center level. Partner with Regional Sales leaders to create utilization efficiencies, derive trends and assist in getting better ROI for total regional inventory.
  • Receive, place and send order confirmation for all orders requested by Commercial Team
  • Lease with Supply /Demand Planner flow about demand any orders or increases / decreases in Markets against budget
  • Follow up on market order deliveries and ensure all needed work is executed in advance of shipping (Proforma Invoices, , etc.)
  • Providing Commercial Team with estimated delivery dates for all ordered SKUs whether local market or external clients
  • Regularly review for all orders and update for all outstanding orders and send reports to Management
  • Manage slow moving products locally with sales managers or through liquidating to other markets when possible, through regular review of finished product stocks at DCs and plant
  • Monitoring Forecast accuracy and customer service KPI’s and its impact to Supply & Demand Planning
  • Assist with day to day logistical activities required to ensure product is available to meet customer demand and maintain operational effectiveness
  • Appropriately manages slow moving, excess and expired inventory within agency network
  • Assist in new product launch plans to maximize sales performance and coordinate the corresponding return of old inventory if applicable
  • Oversees daily operations within the department, to ensure supporting the Sales Operations, Customer Service, and customer claims.
  • Manages inventory and stock related matters, in order to sustain customer needs and order demands and provides the field with up-to-date information on account specifics.
  • Troubleshoots and investigates incidents and reliability problems and rearranges work plans and resources accordingly, to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Coordinates with other internal departments such as Supply Chain, Finance, Quality or Engineering, to ensure the progression of work and compliance with SOPs and GMPs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to working level as well as executive levels.
  • 2-4 years relevant experience in the same position.
  • Proficient in using MS Excel (Power BI preferred)
  • Background and understanding of supply chain management principles such as (but not limited to) Production Planning, Purchasing, Forecasting, and Logistics.
