The Account Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts, and maximizing sales opportunities within them. He/She will act as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to their accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

The  Key Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and growing key client accounts, ensuring long-term success and customer satisfaction. He/She will drive sales and profitability by developing strategic partnerships with key clients and ensuring that their needs are met through effective account management and solution selling.

 

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
  • Identify and drive sales opportunities within existing key accounts to achieve sales targets.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategic plans for key accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, customer service) to deliver customized solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze key account metrics to cross sell, assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prospect for new business leads, conduct sales presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new accounts.
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, address concerns, and upsell additional products or services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.

Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar sales role within the engineering sector- Home Appliance is a Plus.BA/BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineFluent English SpeakerDemonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.Strong technical knowledge of engineering products and solutions.Experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing key accounts.Excellent negotiation, listening, and presentation skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Giza or 6th October Resident is a must
