Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in a Terrazzo tiles, stone, granite, and marble factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management within the stone manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of leading teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient production outputs.
Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
Coordinate production activities according to demand and quality standards.
Process Optimization:
Continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of product quality through effective quality control measures.
Implement quality assurance processes to meet customer expectations.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians.
Provide coaching and training to enhance team performance and skills.
Health and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of raw materials.
Manage inventory accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
Cost Management:
Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives where possible.
Optimize resource utilization to achieve production targets within budget.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular production reports for management review.
Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.<br/><br/>Qualifications:<br/><br/>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Production Manager in the tiles, granite, and marble industry (05 years).
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques in stone fabrication.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br/><br/>Job Type: Full-time
