Key job responsibilities:<br/><br/>Develop site based standard operating procedures and programs as per the regulatory and Amazon environmental standards<br/><br/>Lead environmental procedure and programs implementation at a site-level<br/><br/>Implement Amazon Geo-Specific Operational Environmental Procedures by integrating with engineering, construction and operations<br/><br/>Manage and ensure site's conformance with Amazon Global Environmental Standards and Programs<br/><br/>Manage and execute multi-site responsibilities to comply with air emissions, stormwater, waste, wastewater, and other environmental related laws, regulations and permits, which includes National, and Local reporting (as needed)<br/><br/>Manage the existing sites and new launches Environmental permitting process<br/><br/>Monitor and provide guidance on site's performance against applicable environmental regulations, procedures and programs<br/><br/>Analyze environmental metrics and review weekly and monthly trends to determine where improvements are needed<br/><br/>Ensure site leadership and Associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under environmental procedures and programs to ensure environmental compliance and achieve continual improvement across the network<br/><br/>Audit the quality, delivery, and effectiveness of all required environmental training<br/><br/>Have good knowledge of National and Local Environmental regulations<br/><br/>Lead regulatory agency interactions and permit support<br/><br/>Develop long term environmental programs by integrating with engineering, construction, and operations<br/><br/>Lead and technically manage site-based Environmental Champions and Waste Coordinators<br/><br/>Ensure work performed by contractors, consultants, and employees is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and Amazon standards<br/><br/>Drive an environmentally responsible culture within the organization<br/><br/>Measure and analyze site performance and review trends to determine where improvements are needed<br/><br/>Assist sites with action plan development for any deficiencies noted from trends, audits and inspections<br/><br/>Conduct thorough and accurate environmental inspections and audits for continuous improvement<br/><br/>Demonstrate strong communication and engagement skills to assist in the conducting inspections and audits<br/><br/>Prioritize and manage multiple, technically complex assignments, concurrently<br/><br/>Build and manage collaborative relationships with various stakeholders to ensure risks are identified early and managed appropriately<br/><br/>Desired Candidate Profile:
