Responsibilities (Import):
- Manage the entire import process, from initial purchase orders to customs clearance and delivery to our warehouses.
- Negotiate and secure cost-effective freight rates with international shipping carriers.
- Ensure compliance with all import regulations and documentation requirements.
- Work closely with customs brokers to expedite customs clearance and minimize delays.
- Track and monitor import shipments in real time.
- Manage import duties, taxes, and other associated fees.
Responsibilities (Export):
- Manage the entire export process, from receiving customer orders to arranging transportation and ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and manage export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Coordinate with customs authorities to expedite export clearances.
- Manage export insurance and letters of credit (if applicable).
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders overseas, and international customers.
- Identify and implement strategies to minimize import risks and disruptions, and increase export efficiency, and reduce costs.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, with a strong focus on import and export operations.Proven experience in managing international trade documentation.In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.Proficiency in logistics software ( Odoo preferred )Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Experience working in the natural products or herbal industry, FMCG (is a plus).
