Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop, implement, and manage the annual budget process.
• Prepare financial forecasts and provide analysis to support strategic planning.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.

Team Management:

• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants.
• Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor performance.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Operational Efficiency:

• Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
• Utilize accounting software and tools to enhance efficiency.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Resolve discrepancies and issues related to billing and payments.

Tax Compliance:

• Manage tax filings and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Liaise with tax advisors to optimize tax strategies.
• Ensure timely payment of taxes and submission of tax returns.
