Job Purpose

Supervising the operation of the mall's CCTV control and surveillance room, ensuring continuous monitoring of all cameras and associated systems, and ensuring the rapid detection and recording of any abnormal conditions, violations, or incidents, while directing the team of observers and maintaining continuous coordination with security personnel and relevant departments.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities First: Control Room Supervision

• Supervising the operation of the CCTV control room around the clock.
• Ensuring all cameras and vital areas of the mall are monitored.
• Ensuring the readiness of monitors and surveillance/recording systems.
• Tracking any faults with cameras or recording devices and reporting them immediately.
• Ensuring there are no cameras stopped or out of service without a report being filed.
• Ensuring adherence to approved operating procedures within the control room.

Second: Managing the CCTV Team

• Distributing surveillance tasks to CCTV staff.
• Preparing and monitoring shift schedules.
• Tracking attendance and adherence to working hours.
• Ensuring the vigilance and focus of surveillance staff during work hours.
• Training employees on surveillance procedures and handling emergency situations.
• Evaluating the performance of CCTV staff and submitting reports to the direct supervisor.
• Monitoring adherence to security and confidentiality policies and procedures.
