WE ARE HIRING | PLANT MANAGER – ALUMINUM MANUFACTURING

Location: Sadat City, Egypt

Opportunity: Factory Startup & Leadership Role

We are launching a state-of-the-art aluminum manufacturing facility in Sadat City and are seeking a highly experienced Plant Manager — a true “factory builder” — to lead the startup, build the organization, ramp up production, and establish a high-performance manufacturing operation from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Startup & Commissioning: Lead commissioning, startup, and production ramp-up to achieve stable and efficient commercial operations.

Team Building: Build the plant organization from the ground up — recruit, structure, mentor, and lead a strong management, engineering, and production team.

Production & Planning: Lead production planning and execution, optimizing capacity, manpower, materials, equipment utilization, and delivery performance.

Operational Excellence: Establish KPIs, accountability, and continuous improvement across productivity, OEE, yield, quality, scrap, downtime, and cost.

Plant Leadership: Direct Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Planning, Warehousing, and HSE functions.

Systems & Standards: Establish robust SOPs, operating systems, performance management, and digital manufacturing processes.

Growth & Development: Drive process optimization, plant development, and future capacity expansion.

Candidate Profile

• 20+ years of industrial/manufacturing experience.

• 12+ years in Plant Manager / Factory Manager or equivalent senior factory leadership roles, with full responsibility for plant operations.

• Proven hands-on experience in the aluminum industry; aluminum extrusion experience is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated success in factory startup, commissioning, ramp-up, team building, and organizational development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Postgraduate qualifications and recognized professional certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, or Project Management are highly preferred.

• Strong leadership, strategic planning, analytical, problem-solving, and people-development capabilities.

• Professional English and strong ERP/digital manufacturing capabilities.
