Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Managing the full foreign procurement cycle, starting from receiving purchase requisitions to issuing purchase orders. * Communicating with foreign suppliers regarding quotations, prices, payment terms, delivery dates, and shipping documents. * Following up with suppliers to ensure orders are prepared and shipped according to agreed terms and dates. * Coordinating with banks regarding Letters of Credit (L/Cs), bank transfers, and required documentation for import operations. * Following up on shipping procedures, including shipping schedules, shipping documents, and shipment arrival details. * Coordinating with customs clearance agents to ensure smooth customs clearance procedures and providing all required documents. * Following up on customs procedures, duties, and any required approvals or documents until shipment clearance is completed. * Tracking shipments from purchase order issuance to final delivery to company warehouses. * Ensuring all import documents are complete and accurate, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin, and any other required documents. * Coordinating with internal departments such as Warehousing, Finance, and Procurement to ensure smooth execution of foreign purchase orders. * Maintaining accurate records of foreign purchase orders, shipments, payments, shipping documents, and customs clearance procedures. * Handling and resolving any issues or delays related to suppliers, banks, shipping, or customs procedures. Required Qualifications and Skills: * Strong skills in procurement and purchase orders, including international order management and shipping coordination. * Skills in supplier evaluation, including assessing supplier reliability, product quality, and cost competitiveness. * Contract negotiation skills, including negotiating prices and supply terms and conditions with foreign suppliers. * Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, cost comparison, and conducting market research for imported materials. * A university degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. * Experience in industrial or energy sectors, such as oil and gas, power, petrochemicals, construction, and knowledge of steel products is an added advantage. * Relevant qualifications, such as a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, are preferred. * Proficiency in English for international communication, along with strong skills in preparing and reviewing documents and using MS Office applications. * Ability to work on-site at the company's premises in Alexandria, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and collaborate effectively with various departments.
