Mobile Developer (React Native + Native i OS & Android) Experience: 6+ Years Location: [Remote ] Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Mobile Developer with a strong background in React Native as well as native i OS (Swift/Objective-C) and native Android (Kotlin/Java) development. The ideal candidate has shipped production apps across both platforms, understands the trade-offs between cross-platform and native development, and can confidently move between React Native codebases and native modules when performance, platform-specific features, or third-party SDK integrations demand it. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native for cross-platform features and native i OS/Android for platform-specific requirements. Write and maintain native modules/bridges to integrate native SDKs, hardware APIs, or performance-critical code with React Native. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions. Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery consumption across both platforms. Own the full app lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, deployment, and App Store/Play Store release management. Debug and resolve complex platform-specific issues (native crashes, memory leaks, threading issues, etc.). Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and releases. Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code following best practices. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on both React Native and native development practices. Stay current with new mobile technologies, platform updates (i OS/Android OS releases), and React Native ecosystem changes. Required Skills & Experience6+ years of professional mobile application development experience. Strong hands-on experience with React Native (functional components, hooks, state management — Redux/Mob X/Zustand, navigation libraries). Solid experience in native i OS development using Swift and/or Objective-C, Xcode, and i OS SDKs. Solid experience in native Android development using Kotlin and/or Java, Android Studio, and Android SDKs. Experience building and maintaining native modules/bridges for React Native. Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive design, and platform-specific design guidelines (Human Interface Guidelines / Material Design). Experience with RESTful APIs, Graph QL, and third-party SDK integrations (payments, analytics, push notifications, maps, etc.). Familiarity with app store submission processes (App Store Connect, Google Play Console). Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Fastlane, Bitrise, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills (Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler, Flipper). Understanding of mobile security best practices (secure storage, certificate pinning, encryption). Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, XCTest, Espresso). Good to Have Experience with Type Script. Experience with offline-first architecture and local databases (SQLite, Realm, Watermelon DB). Familiarity with native build systems (Gradle, Cocoa Pods, Fastlane). Exposure to Flutter or other cross-platform frameworks. Experience with app performance monitoring tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, New Relic). Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
