Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor s degree in Science (B.Sc.), or a closely related discipline matching the advertised specialization (Physics, Mathematics, or Biology).
• In addition, applicants must satisfy at least one of the following two conditions:
• a minimum cumulative grade of Very Good (or an equivalent GPA) in the Bachelor s degree; or
• a Master s degree (M.Sc.) in the advertised specialization, awarded by an Egyptian or foreign university recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.
• A good command of English, both written and oral, as English is the language of instruction.

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assisting faculty members in delivering lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, workshops, and laboratory sessions.
• Guiding and supporting students during practical experiments, problem-solving tutorials, and quantitative and laboratory-based analysis.
• Assisting in preparing lab manuals, course presentations, problem sets, and supplementary teaching materials.
• Providing academic and technical support to students under the supervision of faculty members.
• Assisting in grading lab reports, quizzes, assignments, and practical examinations under faculty supervision and in alignment with University standards.
• Supporting students in developing their academic and practical skills.
• Assisting in organizing exhibitions, workshops, seminars, field trips, and other academic and extracurricular activities related to the program.
• Participating in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities as assigned.
• Supporting the development and improvement of courses and educational activities within the relevant program.
• Maintaining regular office hours and being available to provide appropriate academic support to students.
• Assisting in the invigilation (proctoring) of examinations.
• Registering for, and making satisfactory progress towards, a postgraduate degree (M.Sc. / Ph.D.) in accordance with University regulations.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Faculty Dean.
