Role Purpose : The primary mission of the Maintenance Supervisor Role is to ensure uninterrupted factory operations by maintaining all machinery and utilities at optimal performance levels. This role protects production flow, minimizes downtime, and provides full compliance with engineering, safety, and QA standards. The position is critical for achieving operational stability, cost efficiency, and production safety. Key Responsibilities : 1- Ensuring all machines are operating efficiently. 2- Implementing preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and ensuring 100% completion on time. 3- Conducting daily inspections on all critical equipment and documenting the findings. 4- Responding to machine breakdowns with minimum response and repair time. 5- Ensuring that all maintenance job orders are completed and documented daily. 6- Confirming the production line is ready and safe to operate after any maintenance work ( Line Release ). 7- Maintaining spare parts inventory and ensuring critical spares are always in stock. 8- Maintaining clear technical communication with Production, QA, and Hygiene teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications :
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting (Troubleshooting & RCA): the ability to analyze complex mechanical faults
- Deep knowledge of mechanical systems: extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, blowers, and gearboxes
- Predictive maintenance techniques (PdM): understanding the basics of vibration analysis (Vibration Analysis)
Personal and Leadership Skills
- Leading and developing the team: the ability to guide technicians, distribute tasks according to capabilities, and motivate the team under pressure.
- Effective communication: the skill of linking and communicating between the technical department and administrative entities, and preparing periodic maintenance reports clearly.
- Crisis management and pressure control: making quick and correct decisions during unexpected production stoppages (Emergency Shutdowns).
- Problem solving and decision making: assessing technical risks and determining the priority between maintaining equipment immediately or postponing it according to operating schedules.
