Role Description The Science Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in 10th of Ramadan, responsible for supporting and enhancing science education across the school. The role includes designing and delivering engaging science lessons, developing curriculum materials, and integrating practical experiments and demonstrations that align with educational standards. The Science Specialist collaborates with teachers to plan interdisciplinary projects, provides guidance on effective science teaching strategies, and supports classroom activities through modeling best practices. Daily tasks include assessing learner progress, recommending appropriate instructional interventions, organizing science-related events or clubs, and maintaining laboratory resources and safety procedures. The Science Specialist also contributes to professional development by sharing current scientific knowledge and research-based instructional approaches with colleagues. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Science knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible ways. Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to evaluate learner performance, interpret data, and improve instructional strategies. Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate with educators, engage learners, and present information clearly. Candidates should possess Education-related skills, including curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom support. Candidates should possess Research skills to stay current with scientific developments and evidence-based teaching practices. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related scientific field.
