Main tasks and responsibilities: Technical skills: has experience in welding - tapping - micrometer measurement - steel drawing machine (high-carbon steel & low-carbon steel). The machine and drawing are dry-run. ------------ Very important: The steel wire drawing operator is responsible for operating and monitoring wire drawing and shaping machines for steel or iron wires/cables to reduce diameter and increase toughness, ensuring compliance with standard specifications in terms of quality and tensile strength. Operations of equipment: preparing, operating and monitoring lines and machines for drawing steel wires. Adjusting standards: adjusting drawing speeds, temperatures, and tensile and compression forces according to the required wire diameter. Quality control: regularly inspecting produced wires to ensure they are free of defects and cracks and meet technical standards. Preventive maintenance: performing simple maintenance tasks, cleaning machines and reporting any mechanical or electrical faults. Safety procedures: full compliance with industrial safety rules and wearing personal protective equipment during work. Required skills and qualifications: Technical education: not required, experience in wire drawing is required. Practical experience: previous experience in operating drawing or metal forming machines in cable or wire factories. Technical skills: has experience in welding - tapping - micrometer measurement - steel drawing machine (high-carbon & low-carbon steel) - machine and drawing on dry run. ------------ Very important: Physical fitness: ability to stand for long periods, handle heavy equipment and work in shifts.
