Manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, handling, and issuing of materials.
Develop and implement effective warehouse management procedures and inventory control systems.
Supervise the receipt, inspection, identification, storage, and distribution of raw materials, steel products, spare parts, equipment, tools, and consumables.
Ensure accurate inventory records and maintain appropriate stock levels to support shipyard, construction, and project operations.
Monitor all stock movements and conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
Coordinate closely with Procurement, Projects, Production, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments to ensure the timely availability of required materials.
Establish proper systems for material identification, coding, storage, and traceability.
Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, and excess inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
Ensure proper handling and storage of materials in accordance with safety and operational requirements. • Manage and supervise warehouse personnel, assign responsibilities, and ensure high levels of productivity and discipline.
Monitor warehouse performance and prepare regular reports and KPIs for senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable health and safety requirements.
Continuously improve warehouse processes, minimize material losses, and optimize storage capacity and operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or material management.
Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory warehouse position is preferred.
Proven experience with major companies, preferably within the Marine, Shipbuilding, Construction, Industrial, or Heavy Industries sectors.
Experience in warehouses supporting shipyards, marine projects, steel fabrication, or large-scale construction projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, material control, warehouse operations, and stock reconciliation.
Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Strong leadership and team-management skills.
