• Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns

• Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings

Requirements

• ABachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited public university.

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

• Previous experience in purchasing mechanical spare parts and maintenance materials.

• Good knowledge of mechanical components such as Bearings, Gearboxes, Pumps, Motors, Valves, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Components, Belts & Chains, etc.

• Ability to understand technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering drawings.

• Experience in RFQs, supplier sourcing, quotations, technical & commercial comparisons, and negotiations.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is a plus.

• Good command of English.

• Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

• Previous experience in Steel Structure / Sheet Metal / Heavy Industry / Manufacturing is a strong advantage.

• Candidates residing in Giza or nearby areas are preferred.
