Required: Technician and Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (Evening Shift Only)\nJob Description:\nThe Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE policies and procedures in alignment with local and international standards. This role aims to ensure regulatory compliance, promote a safe workplace culture, and support continuous improvement in occupational health, safety, and environment performance across production and packaging facilities. Main responsibilities - Monitor the implementation of HSE policies and programs in accordance with local and international standards. - Conduct risk assessments, field inspections, and periodic audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance. - Lead and document incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. - Provide training and awareness programs in HSE for all employees to strengthen safety culture and environmental responsibility. - Comply with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, NEBOSH, OHSAS, and other relevant standards. - Monitor environmental performance and prepare waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation reports. - Maintain accurate records of examinations, incidents, and corrective actions for internal and external audits. - Coordinate with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations. - Promote safety culture by engaging employees in safety awareness initiatives and programs. - Support management in implementing sustainability programs and initiatives. - Prepare and submit required documents and reports to regulatory authorities in a timely manner. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate best HSE practices into daily operations. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to raise workplace safety and environmental performance. * Qualifications and requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Sciences. - 1 to 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environment in an industrial or manufacturing setting; experience in food manufacturing and the FMCG sector preferred. - Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices. - Practical experience applying and complying with ISO 45001, NEBOSH, OHSAS. - Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations. - Excellent communication, training, and people skills across organizational levels. - Proficiency in preparing HSE reports, documents, and presentations. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced industrial environment. - Relevant professional HSE certifications are a plus. - High accuracy and attention to detail with a proactive, results-driven approach. - Residence in Cairo or Giza and near 6th of October City preferred. - Evening shift work only; transportation covered within Cairo and Giza governorates.
