Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Doctor role based in Asyut, Egypt. The doctor will conduct patient consultations, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, updating medical records, coordinating care with nursing and allied health professionals, and providing clear medical information and guidance to patients and families. The doctor will follow clinical protocols, adhere to safety and infection control standards, participate in case discussions, and support continuous improvement initiatives in the facility. Participation in on-call duties, where applicable, and contribution to teaching or mentoring of junior staff may also be part of the role.
Qualifications

Licensed medical practitioner with a recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and eligibility to practice in Egypt. Relevant clinical experience in hospital or primary care settings; specialization or residency training in a medical discipline is an advantage. Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities, including effective use of history-taking, examination, and investigations. Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical documentation and using electronic health records or similar systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and adherence to national and organizational clinical guidelines. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple cases, and respond effectively to emergency and urgent situations. Willingness to engage in continuous professional development, attend trainings, and stay updated with current medical knowledge. Working knowledge of Arabic; English proficiency is beneficial for medical literature and communication.
