Supervise the operation and maintenance of the industrial ammonia refrigeration system and all related equipment and systems. Develop and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans to ensure efficiency and continuity of refrigeration systems operation. Monitor the performance of compressors, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, ammonia receivers, pipelines, and valves, ensuring their efficient operation. Monitor operating pressures and temperatures and ensure the system runs efficiently and safely. Diagnose technical faults, analyze root causes, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Supervise maintenance work performed by technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. Ensure readiness of refrigeration and freezing rooms and maintain required temperatures in line with operating requirements and food safety. Coordinate with Production and Quality departments to ensure continuous cooling chain and unaffected production processes. Monitor energy consumption and analyze the efficiency of the cooling system, proposing initiatives to improve performance and reduce energy usage. Oversee periodic inspections and safety tests for ammonia systems, detect any leaks, and address them according to approved procedures. Ensure compliance with safety procedures for handling ammonia gas and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on refrigeration system performance, maintenance work, and faults, and submit them to the direct supervisor. Participate in the installation, commissioning, and handover of new equipment from a technical standpoint. Supervise training and development of refrigeration technicians and raise their technical competence. Commit to applying quality, food safety, and occupational health and safety policies, and perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
