Role Description The Early Years Homeroom Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at Kayan International College in New Cairo. The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that support the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of early years learners. Daily responsibilities include creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment, managing classroom routines, and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The role involves close communication with families, ongoing observation and documentation of student progress, and collaboration with colleagues to support whole-child development and uphold the school’s mission and ethos. The teacher will participate in professional development, contribute to co-curricular activities, and help reinforce the school’s core values within daily classroom practices. Qualification
Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with proven experience in early years or primary school settings. Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation aligned with British or American education systems. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with learners, families, and colleagues in a professional and supportive manner. Experience in Training or mentoring learners through structured activities that build independence, confidence, and social responsibility. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; relevant teaching certification is preferred. Ability to foster an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that supports diverse needs and backgrounds. Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and familiarity with technology-enhanced learning tools.
