We are looking to hire Junior and Senior Mechanical Engineers to support our production, maintenance and reliability operations.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in El Obour. This is a great opportunity for engineers who want hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment and want to work with paper production machinery, stock preparation systems, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors and factory utilities.
The selected engineers will be responsible for supporting daily factory operations, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures and improving machine reliability.
Responsibilities include:
Inspecting and maintaining production equipment Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns Supporting preventive maintenance plans Monitoring pumps, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, bearings, couplings and conveyors Checking alignment, lubrication and vibration issues Identifying the causes of repeated equipment failures Preparing weekly maintenance and inspection reports Coordinating with production teams to reduce downtime Supporting installation, commissioning and improvement projects Ensuring compliance with safety and factory maintenance procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering10 years experience or strong interest in industrial maintenance Knowledge of rotating equipment, bearings, pumps and gearboxes Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults in production machinery Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a factory environment Good communication skills Commitment to safety and reliability Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge and experience may apply for junior positions Experienced engineers are encouraged to apply for senior positions Experience in paper manufacturing or heavy industry is a plus
