The Senior IT Engineer will manage, maintain, and enhance the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves advanced system administration, network management, and server virtualization responsibilities. The Senior IT Engineer will also mentor junior staff and play a key role in implementing new technologies and ensuring IT service reliability and security. Key Responsibilities Plan, install, and configure enterprise-level IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and applications. Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2019 and later). Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and file systems. Configure and manage Exchange Server (user creation, mailbox configuration, troubleshooting). Maintain and monitor firewall systems and ensure network security. Manage virtualized environments using VMware ESXi, including host configuration and maintenance. Perform server hardware troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Deploy and support Linux servers when required. Lead IT projects and assist in system upgrades or migrations. Give IT Support for end users in troubleshooting and issue resolution Install new computers, laptops, and give full support Fix IT issues, including network and end-users issues Prepare and maintain system documentation, reports, and configurations. Evaluate and test new technologies and provide recommendations for improvement. Technical Skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft server platforms and applications. Strong understanding of VMware ESXi virtualization. Good command of network administration, including firewall, routing, and VPNs. Experience managing Exchange Server environments. Familiar with Linux server administration and troubleshooting. Proficient in chat systems setup and support. Strong hardware and software diagnostic skills. Job Requirements Experience: Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure or system administration roles. Certification: MCSE required. Knowledge: Deep technical expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization. Skills: Strong leadership, documentation, and project management abilities.
