Role Description The Kitchen & Dressing Design Engineer is responsible for designing efficient, aesthetically pleasing kitchen and dressing layouts that meet client needs and safety standards. This full-time, on-site role in Qesm 3rd New Cairo involves assessing client requirements, taking measurements, and developing detailed design concepts and technical drawings. Day-to-day tasks include creating CAD models and Sketch Up 3D renderings, coordinating with mechanical and electrical teams on appliance placement and utility routing, and ensuring designs are practical and ergonomic. The role also includes collaborating with execution teams and suppliers, participating in client presentations, and preparing material specifications. Qualifications1 to 3 years of experience specializing in Kitchens and Dressing Rooms design. Proficiency in Sketch Up for 3D modeling/rendering and CAD for 2D/3D layouts and technical drawings. Strong Design Engineering skills, with familiarity in materials, fittings, appliances, and ergonomic standards. Mechanical & Electrical Engineering knowledge to address structural integrity, ventilation, lighting, and power distribution. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Applied Arts, Mechanical/Industrial Design, or a related field. Ability to interpret building codes, safety standards, and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills with sharp attention to detail.
