The Sales Section Head leads the commercial strategy, business development, and market expansion for critical water infrastructure solutions, focusing on high-capacity pumping systems and specialized control networks. This role requires an experienced electrical or mechanical engineering professional who can manage high-pressure sales targets, negotiate with key accounts, and strategically build a robust regional distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:Key Account Management: Establish and maintain high-level relationships with contractors, consultants, military oversight bodies, and major government entities. Market Mapping: Identify new project opportunities in the infrastructure, agricultural, and real estate development sectors across Egypt. Product Portfolio Management: Drive commercial success for a comprehensive portfolio including subsurface borehole pumps, deep-well motors, and high-capacity surface pumps. Electrical Component Alignment: Deliver technical consultations and sales proposals covering specialized rubber-insulated cables and dedicated pump control panels. Brand Specialization: Champion the commercial positioning, competitive positioning, and technical advantages of premium Italian equipment brands. Section Management: Supervise, mentor, and drive a team of technical sales engineers to meet collective and individual commercial targets. High-Pressure Execution: Excel in a highly demanding target-driven environment, ensuring swift pipeline conversion and resolving complex client issues under strict deadlines. Communication Excellence: Act as the primary interface between global equipment manufacturers, internal engineering teams, and end-users to ensure flawless technical alignment.
Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 7 years of specialized sales experience directly handling borehole pumps, surface pumps, control panels, and rubber-insulated wiring systems. Deep, demonstrated familiarity and field experience commercializing prominent Italian pumping and control brands (e.g., Caprari, Rovatti, Lowara, Calpeda, or Pedrollo). Exceptional interpersonal communication, negotiation mastery, and a proven capability to thrive within high-pressure, competitive corporate environments. Candidate must own a personal car and be comfortable utilizing it to client visits.
