Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt for a specialist with native-level fluency in the Saudi Arabic dialect. The role focuses on creating, localizing, and refining written and spoken content in Saudi dialect for WAJJAD’s digital platforms, marketing materials, user interfaces, and client communications. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and adapting content to Saudi cultural and linguistic nuances, collaborating with product and design teams to ensure consistent tone and terminology, and reviewing existing materials for dialect accuracy and clarity. The role also involves supporting client-facing communications, scriptwriting for demos and videos, and contributing to brand voice guidelines that align with governance, legal, financial, and real estate contexts. The team member will work closely with cross-functional colleagues to maintain high-quality, context-appropriate language across all touchpoints.
Qualifications
Native-level fluency in Saudi Arabic dialect, with strong command of Modern Standard Arabic and solid comprehension of cultural nuances across Saudi regions. Advanced written and verbal communication skills in Arabic, with the ability to adapt tone and style for professional, legal, financial, and real estate contexts. Strong skills in content creation and localization, including drafting, revising, and polishing user-facing text, scripts, and marketing copy. Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, marketing, and client success teams in a structured, fast-paced environment. High attention to detail, including consistency in terminology, clarity of messaging, and alignment with brand and regulatory standards. Comfort working with digital platforms, basic familiarity with tech or Saa S environments, and willingness to learn domain-specific terminology. Bachelor’s degree in Language Studies, Translation, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Previous experience in content, localization, copywriting, or communication roles within the GCC region is an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, with a structured full-time schedule and openness to occasional cross-border coordination.
