Marahel is an early-stage, bootstrapped EdTech startup on a mission to make quality education accessible for children with developmental and learning differences across the MENA region. We combine technology, AI, and evidence-based learning to create personalized educational experiences with measurable impact.
We’re looking for a passionate Technical Co-Founder (CTO) to join our founding team and lead the development of our technology from the ground up.
Responsibilities
* Define and execute the company’s technology strategy.* Lead the design, development, and deployment of our platform.* Build scalable web and mobile applications.* Develop secure, reliable, and scalable backend infrastructure.* Integrate AI capabilities into the product roadmap.* Recruit and lead the future engineering team.* Work closely with the founders on product, business, and fundraising.
Requirements
* Strong experience in full-stack software development.* Experience building scalable Saa S products.* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).* Experience with modern frontend and backend frameworks.* Familiarity with AI/ML or a strong interest in applying AI to education.* Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to build from zero.* Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous startup or founding experience.* Experience in EdTech, Health Tech, or AI products.* Mobile app development experience.* Experience designing scalable system architectures.
