Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Metal Systems Operations to lead multiple metal manufacturing facilities and drive operational excellence across all plants. This role is responsible for optimizing production, improving productivity, ensuring quality and safety standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee operations across all Metal Systems manufacturing plants. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and performance. Ensure production targets are achieved while meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Planning teams to ensure seamless operations. Lead, mentor, and develop plant leadership teams to foster a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Manage operational budgets, optimize resources, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare performance reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (MBA or postgraduate degree is an advantage).12–15 years of progressive manufacturing operations experience. Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role managing manufacturing plants or large-scale production operations. Previous experience in metal manufacturing is required. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills. Strategic planning and operational management expertise. Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Financial acumen with experience managing operational budgets. Solid understanding of production planning, quality systems, inventory management, and maintenance coordination.
