Presales Engineer Department: Pre Sales Engineering Location: Konecta Egypt - New Cairo Experience Level: 2 – 5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking a dynamic and technically grounded Presales Engineer to join our team at Konecta Egypt. In this role, the nominee will act as the crucial technical bridge between our enterprise customers and the account executive team, leading technical discoveries, architecting tailored infrastructure solutions, delivering compelling demonstrations, and directly driving commercial success. Whether the background is as a Pre-Sales Specialist, Solutions Architect, Technical Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager, the selected candidate will play a hands-on role in converting technical opportunities into closed revenue. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESArchitect robust, scalable architectures leveraging Servers, Storage (SAN/NAS/NVMe), Data Center enterprise designs, Hybrid Cloud environments, and Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, KVM). Author tailored technical proposals, and detailed responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. Take direct accountability for meeting or exceeding assigned quota targets through technical leadership during the sales cycle. Delivery tailored technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) to technical decision-makers and C-level executives. Serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex infrastructure capabilities into clear business value and ROI analyses. Build deep, ongoing technical relationships with key decision-makers across mid-market and enterprise prospective client accounts. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSExperience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in technical sales, solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical account management. Core Technical Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of Data Center architecture, enterprise Servers & Storage. Communication & Presentation: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate technical ideas to non-technical executives. Problem Solving & Multitasking: Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple complex customer evaluations simultaneously.
