• Prepare and maintain accurate product costing and cost records.

• Analyze manufacturing costs and investigate cost variances.

• Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.

• Perform inventory reconciliations and participate in physical stock counts.

• Prepare monthly cost reports and provide recommendations for cost reduction.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Analyze production efficiency and identify opportunities to improve profitability.

• Ensure accurate allocation of manufacturing overhead and direct costs.

• Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance departments to improve cost control.

• Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost accounting

Requirements

• Proven experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and variance analysis.

• Experience in inventory control and valuation.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to prepare cost analyses, budgets, and financial reports.

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
