We are seeking a talented and dynamic Production Engineer with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in metal forming, wire drawing, or fastener manufacturing to join our operations team in Qalyubia Governorate.
Oversee daily production processes, including wire drawing, cold/hot forming, thread rolling, and surface treatments.
Ensure that production targets set by the Production Manager are achieved efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
Monitor product dimensions and surface quality regularly, reporting any deviations immediately to maintain compliance with technical specifications.
Assist in identifying bottlenecks, reducing material waste, and improving the overall efficiency (OEE) of production lines.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to report machine malfunctions and assist in executing preventive maintenance schedules.
Enforce strict adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) on the shop floor.
Prepare daily shift reports detailing production output, downtime, scrap rates, and workforce performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within metal forming, cold/hot forging, wire drawing, or fasteners (bolts and nuts) production.
Basic understanding of wire drawing, surface treatments (phosphating/galvanizing), and CNC/mechanical production machinery.
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in English and MS Office.
Residents of Qalyubia Governorate are preferred.
