• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's Quality Assurance strategy across farms and packing houses.

• Ensure full compliance with quality assurance and food safety standards throughout all stages of production, packing, and export operations.

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of international certification standards, including:

  • Global G.A.P.

  • GRASP

  • HACCP

  • ISO 22000

  • BRCGS (preferred)

  • SMETA (preferred)

• Lead internal audits and prepare the company for external audits conducted by certification bodies and international customers.

• Ensure the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and compliance with export market requirements.

• Collaborate with Production, Farm Management, Packing House, and Supply Chain teams to achieve the highest quality standards.

• Monitor quality KPIs, prepare management reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team.

• Manage non-conformities, customer complaints, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the agricultural sector, including 5-8 years in a managerial role.

• Proven experience in Citrus, Potatoes, and Other Agricultural Crops and export, with strong knowledge of European, GCC, and other international market requirements.

• In-depth understanding of food safety systems, quality management standards, and international customer compliance requirements.

• Experience managing certification processes and external audits.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and report preparation.

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

• Strong leadership, analytical, planning, and decision-making skills.

• Previous experience in agricultural companies and export packing houses is a mandatory requirement.
