Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate quantity take-offs, cost control, and commercial management of construction projects.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture- 2–4 years of relevant experience (preferably in hotel projects)- Proficient in Auto CAD and Microsoft Excel- Strong organizational and analytical skills- Good knowledge of commercial practices and cost estimation
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review accurate quantity take-offs for all structural and architectural items based on tender and construction drawings before and after contract award- Review and prepare contractors’ interim payment certificates in coordination with site teams and different projects- Review and evaluate variations and claims submitted by contractors- Assist the contracts team in preparing contracts, payment schedules, and advance payment documentation when required- Coordinate with technical and site teams to ensure proper documentation and measurement of executed works
