Overview of the company and the role

A leading company in business and organizational development in the Arab Republic of Egypt seeks a passionate and ambitious Strategic Human Resources Director to join the HR team. The successful candidate will focus on designing and implementing HR strategies that support the company’s goals and achieve sustainable growth by improving HR efficiency, fostering a culture of performance and innovation, and developing young leaders within the organization.

Key responsibilities and duties

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals with a focus on competencies, professional development, and succession planning.
  • Design comprehensive HR policies and procedures including recruitment, evaluation, compensation, and performance management system.
  • Manage organizational transformation projects and develop flexible organizational structures that support growth and expansion.
  • Measure HR KPIs and provide periodic reports to senior management with key recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead leadership development initiatives and training and professional development programs for employees and management teams.
  • Manage labor compliance matters and industrial relations issues and address organizational challenges.
  • Coordinate streamlined recruitment efforts and international recruitment if any, ensuring a high-quality employee experience from application through joining and development phase.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a related field.
  • 0 to 1 year of practical experience in HR or training and development.
  • Strong understanding of HR management principles and applicable systems and policies in Egypt.
  • Familiarity with performance management tools, job evaluations, and digital training programs.
  • Knowledge of Egyptian labor laws and relevant compliance and labor regulations.

Required skills

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make strategic decisions.
  • High capacity for planning and organizing work with attention to detail and excellent timing.
  • Effective communication skills in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and mentor and develop young talents.
  • Professional integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with high confidentiality.
