Job Summary
A leading industrial company is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to oversee and manage payroll operations for a workforce of more than 1,000 employees across multiple locations in Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely salary processing while maintaining payroll records, reports, and controls.
Although this role does not involve direct team management, the Payroll Supervisor will take ownership of the payroll process, coordinate with HR, Finance, and site administration teams, and ensure efficient payroll execution for a large-scale industrial workforce.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end payroll processing for more than 1,000 employees across multiple company locations.
Prepare, review, and validate monthly payroll data, including attendance, overtime, deductions, allowances, incentives, and final settlements.
Ensure payroll accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
Maintain and update payroll records in accordance with company policies and labor regulations.
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and site administration teams to collect and validate payroll inputs.
Prepare payroll reports, reconciliation sheets, and management reports.
Manage payroll-related transactions, including salary transfers and banking processes.
Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law, social insurance regulations, and tax requirements.
Handle payroll audits and support internal and external audit requests.
Analyze payroll data and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information at all times.
Support the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and automation initiatives.
Requirements
Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Previous experience handling payroll for 1,000+ employees is mandatory.
Experience within industrial, manufacturing, or factory environments is required.
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, social insurance, taxes, and labor law in Egypt.
Hands-on experience with MenaITech (Mina ITech) payroll and HR systems.
Experience using NOVA HRMS/Payroll System is highly preferred.
Advanced Excel skills are mandatory, including:
Experience managing payroll across multiple branches or locations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict payroll deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in large industrial groups or manufacturing companies.
Exposure to ERP systems and payroll integrations.
Professional certifications in Payroll, HR Operations, or Compensation & Benefits are a plus.
