Through a range of capacity-building initiatives, study visits, specialized trainings, simulation exercises, and equipment support, the project aims to enhance the operational readiness, coordination, and institutional capacities of relevant Egyptian authorities. Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Law, Human Rights, International Relations, or another related field.
- Minimum of 1 2 years of relevant professional experience with a United Nations agency, international organization, or non-governmental organization (NGO), preferably in migration, humanitarian assistance, human rights, or a related area.
- Knowledge of or experience working with Egyptian entities involved in maritime security, search and rescue (SAR), border management, or related sectors is an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills, with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- For this consultancy, fluency in Arabic & English is required, French is an advantage.
- Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
- Travel may be required for the accomplishment of the above tasks; in which case a daily subsistence allowance (DSA) will be provided, as well as flight tickets.

- IOM covers Consultants against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the consultancy.
- IOM does not provide evacuation or medical insurance for reasons related to non-occupational accidents and illnesses. Consultants are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness and will be required to provide written proof of such coverage before commencing work.
