Develop and implement the company's procurement strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Lead and manage all procurement activities, including local and international sourcing.
Ensure the timely procurement of paperboard, paper, raw materials, inks, chemicals, spare parts, machinery, MRO items, packaging materials, services, and all indirect purchases.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with local and international suppliers.
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment conditions, contracts, and delivery schedules to maximize value.
Identify and qualify new suppliers while maintaining an approved supplier base.
Monitor global and local market trends, raw material prices, and supply risks.
Develop sourcing strategies to reduce dependency on single-source suppliers.
Ensure uninterrupted material availability to support production plans and customer commitments.
Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Warehousing, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
Lead supplier performance evaluation and continuous supplier development initiatives.
Drive cost reduction and value engineering projects without compromising quality or service.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, governance standards, and applicable ISO requirements.
Prepare procurement budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
Establish, monitor, and improve procurement KPIs.
Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives.
Promote continuous improvement and digitalization of procurement processes through ERP systems and best practices.
