Role Description The Senior HVAC Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo. This role is responsible for leading HVAC system design for commercial, residential, or industrial projects, including load calculations, equipment selection, and layout development. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed design drawings and specifications, coordinating with plumbing and mechanical disciplines, and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes and standards. The engineer will review project requirements, collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers. Additional responsibilities include participating in design reviews, supporting value engineering initiatives, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and sustainability objectives.
Qualifications

Strong expertise in HVAC Design and HVAC systems, including load calculations and equipment selection. Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles applied to building services and system integration. Experience coordinating HVAC with Plumbing designs to ensure effective and compliant building services layouts. Proficiency in preparing engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation using relevant design software. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; advanced certification in HVAC is an advantage. Several years of experience in HVAC design engineering, preferably in consultancy or construction environments. Familiarity with local and international building codes, standards, and energy efficiency requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients on-site in New Cairo.
