Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee daily site activities, ensuring civil works are executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, reviewing drawings and technical documents, monitoring construction progress, and resolving site-related technical issues. The role involves performing site inspections, verifying material quality, supporting stormwater and infrastructure installations, and preparing regular progress reports. The Site Civil Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret and apply technical drawings and standards. Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction sites, overseeing execution and quality of civil works. Planning skills for scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of site activities. Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure systems. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3D or similar). Strong understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Previous on-site experience in infrastructure, utilities, or building projects in Egypt is an advantage.
