Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Sales role for a Civil Engineer, based in Egypt. The role involves promoting and selling construction-focused software solutions, including tools for estimates, takeoffs, scheduling, meetings, and contract management. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying potential clients, conducting product demonstrations, and explaining how the software supports project efficiency and cost control. The position also requires collaborating with technical teams to tailor solutions to client needs, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and maintaining long-term customer relationships. The Software Sales–Civil Engineer will stay informed about construction industry trends and actively engage with professionals through networking and social media channels. Qualifications Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and construction project workflows, including estimating, scheduling, and contract management. Ability to understand and explain software solutions, with interest in digital tools, artificial intelligence applications, and construction technology. Sales and customer-facing skills, including client prospecting, product presentations, negotiation, and relationship management. Professional communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, participating in construction meetings, and utilizing social media for networking. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in construction management, engineering consulting, or software sales is an advantage. Fluency in English and Arabic, with the ability to prepare clear technical and commercial documentation. Willingness to work on-site in Egypt and travel to client locations as needed.
