JOB PURPOSE:The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing projects through design and construction phases, ensuring adherence to project parameters and schedules. He/she supports the project managers in project management and leads the technical team and field workers. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Receive final drawings from brand designers and submit them to respective malls for approval, coordinating closely with MEP consultants.- Coordinate all design and commercial parameters, including signage, materials, shop front, construction, commercial sections, entrances, and fitting rooms. Manage coordination with malls, brand managers, landlords, and public authorities to ensure alignment and compliance with project requirements.- Receive materials on-site, monitor storage and warehousing activities, and track the quantity used on-site for final account settlement.- Oversee shop construction projects from inception to completion; monitor critical material orders and deliveries to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.- Communicate commercial and technical requirements to designers, including Built Drawings, LOD (Level of Development), Design Manual, and other specifications. Ensure that all work is completed according to established standards.- Receive quotations for sitework and take necessary actions. Approve payments, verify quantities, and ensure proper settlement during final settlement and defect liability periods.- Coordinate and track internal and external reviews and approvals of design drawings.- Guide the Foreman by overseeing their daily activities to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and security standards throughout the project duration.- Oversee the thorough compilation and timely rectification of snag lists, ensuring smooth handover of completed projects to the operations departments. Technical Skills- Proficiency in MS Office. Specific Expertise- Proficiency in Auto CAD and a Project Scheduling Tool (such as MS Project, Primavera or other). - - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or Architecture, or a related field.- 7 to 9 years of related experience in Finishing and MEP works, or a similar role.- 4 years of experience in a managerial role.
