Role Description The Revit Modeler / Shop Drawing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Markaz Tanta. This role is responsible for creating and updating detailed Revit models for retail stores, including layouts, fixtures, interior elements, and building services coordination. The Revit Modeler / Shop Drawing Engineer prepares accurate shop drawings and construction documents, ensuring compliance with design standards, safety codes, and project specifications. Daily tasks include collaborating with architects, engineers, and store planning teams, reviewing design inputs, and resolving coordination issues. The role also involves revising drawings based on feedback, maintaining organized project files, and supporting site teams with clear, buildable documentation.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Revit modeling for architectural and interior layouts, with experience translating concepts into detailed 2D/3D drawings. Ability to produce precise shop drawings, construction details, and documentation aligned with project standards and local codes. Strong understanding of retail or commercial fit-out projects, including space planning, finishes, and coordination with MEP drawings. Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with design, engineering, and site teams, and to incorporate feedback efficiently. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and deadlines. Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field. Previous experience as a Revit modeler, draftsperson, or shop drawing engineer in construction, retail, or interior projects is preferred. Willingness to work on-site in Markaz Tanta and to support occasional site visits, measurements, and field coordination.
