Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design process from concept development through to project completion, translating client requirements into cohesive design solutions. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, developing space plans, preparing design presentations, producing construction drawings, and overseeing FF&E selection and specifications. The role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is maintained and timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior team members, contribute to design reviews, and support business development through proposals and client presentations. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Al Jizah, Egypt, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home arrangements as project needs allow. Qualifications Strong expertise in Interior Design and Architecture, with a proven ability to lead complex design projects from concept to completion. Proficiency in Space Planning, ensuring functional, efficient, and aesthetically cohesive layouts for various types of interiors. Experience preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, with attention to technical accuracy, building codes, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated capability in FF&E selection and specification, including finishes, fixtures, furniture, and materials aligned with project budgets and design standards. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of experience in a senior or lead design role. Advanced skills in design and documentation software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, or similar) and presentation tools. Excellent communication, client-facing, and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of local building regulations and construction practices in Egypt; experience with hybrid work environments is an advantage.
