We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Welder Supervisor to lead our welding operations team in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. In this role, you will oversee daily welding activities, ensure quality standards are met, and foster a safe, productive work environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical welding expertise with proven leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence and team performance.
Supervise and manage a team of welders, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and specifications through regular inspections and testing
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies
Plan and schedule welding projects to optimize productivity and meet production deadlines
Conduct equipment maintenance checks and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
Train team members on welding techniques, safety procedures, and new equipment operation
Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
Document work progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare performance reports
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions promptly
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless project coordination
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on welding experience with proficiency in multiple welding processes
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of welding standards, quality assurance practices, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding specifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Proficiency in using welding equipment and related tools
- Valid welding certification (AWS or equivalent)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Preferred: Experience with scheduling software and budget management
- Preferred: Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties
- Preferred: Experience implementing process improvement initiatives
