Job Details

First: Job Objective
Perform the company's accounting and financial tasks, prepare and review journal entries and financial reports, and monitor costs, statements, suppliers, and customers to ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with approved policies and procedures.

Second: Tasks and Responsibilities
Record and prepare daily accounting entries and review them.
Prepare and follow up on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and subcontractors.
Review statements, purchase orders, invoices, disbursement documents, and collections.
Monitor expenses and revenues and analyze variances.
Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts.
Prepare project cost reports and monitor budgets.
Monitor advances, loans, and site settlements.
Prepare periodic financial reports to support management in decision-making.
Participate in preparing financial statements and monthly and annual closures.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure the integrity of the documentation cycle.
Monitor tax and insurance obligations in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Maintain and organize financial documents and records.
Third: Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in commerce – Accounting department or equivalent.
Prefer to obtain courses or certificates in accounting or financial analysis.
Experience of at least (2–5 years) and preferably in contracting or general procurement companies.
Fourth: Required Skills
Proficiency in preparing journal entries and financial reports.
Good knowledge of contracting accounting, costing, and takeoffs (work quantities).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
Financial analysis skills and high accuracy in data review.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Fifth: Job Requirements
Ability to follow project and site work when needed.
Strict confidentiality of financial data.
Willingness to work according to closing and periodic reporting requirements.
Sixth: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accuracy in recording and preparing financial reports.
Compliance with monthly closings deadlines.
Speed and accuracy of reconciliations and matchings.
Quality of receivables management and collections.
Compliance with financial policies and reduction of accounting errors.
