  • Implements the day to day operations of the cost accounting function from management of unit costs to monthly close and analysis
  • Support the Cost Accounting Manager in the transition from the existing cost environment to a new cost system
  • Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost statement along with supporting analysis
  • Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
  • Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.
  • Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers.
  • Monitor and review manufacturing fixed and variable costs.
  • Monitor and review material consumptions vs standard BOM.
  • Monitor and review other cost elements.
  • Investigate, and analyze major cost and yield variances.
  • Ensure proper cost allocation for direct and indirect cost.
  • Ensure inventory valuation and slow moving/obsolete goods provisions are stated in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist FP&A Team in forecast and budget preparation
