Business Development Surveyor

Position Summary

The Business Development Surveyor is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities in the market through field surveying, market intelligence gathering, and lead generation activities. The role focuses on discovering ongoing and upcoming fit-out, renovation, office, commercial, and construction projects and providing qualified leads to the Sales Engineering team.

The Business Development Surveyor acts as threetee's eyes and ears in the market, continuously building a database of potential clients, contractors, consultants, developers, tenants, and decision-makers.

Market Surveying & Intelligence

• Conduct regular field visits to:
  • Commercial office buildings
  • Administrative developments
  • Business parks
  • Malls and retail developments
  • Mixed-use developments
  • Construction sites
  • Industrial and logistics facilities
  • New residential compounds with commercial components
• Identify ongoing and upcoming:
  • Office fit-out projects
  • Corporate relocations
  • Renovations and refurbishments
  • Commercial developments
  • Construction projects requiring interior or exterior aluminium systems
• Monitor newly occupied office spaces and commercial units.
• Gather market intelligence regarding:
  • Project status
  • Estimated project size
  • Project timelines
  • Main contractor information
  • Consultant information
  • Client information
  • Decision-makers and influencers

Lead Generation

• Generate qualified sales leads for the Sales Engineering team.
• Identify companies currently:
  • Leasing office space
  • Purchasing office space
  • Expanding operations
  • Relocating headquarters
  • Undertaking fit-out works
• Build relationships with:
  • Facility management teams
  • Building management offices
  • Property managers
  • Leasing agents
  • Real estate brokers
  • Site personnel
• Obtain contact details of:
  • Project managers
  • Procurement teams

  • Corporate decision-makers
• Arrange introductory meetings between prospects and threetee's Sales Engineers.
