We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Office Engineer to join our engineering team at Borg El Arab For Steel Fabrication. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks and PowerMILL, capable of translating design intent into precise manufacturing outputs within a fast-paced steel fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks
- Develop CNC machining programs and toolpaths using PowerMILL
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure design-to-manufacturing accuracy
- Prepare BOMs, technical reports, and fabrication documentation
- Review and interpret project drawings and specifications to support workshop execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Fluency in SolidWorks — modeling, assemblies, drawings, simulation
- Fluency in PowerMILL — CNC programming, 3–5 axis machining strategies
- 2–4 years of experience in a technical office or steel fabrication environment
- Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering tolerances, and fabrication standards
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English (written and verbal)
- Must be based in Alexandria — candidates residing in or near Borg El Arab are strongly preferred
