We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned General Manager to join our Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Cairo Capital at Madinaty opening team in Egypt! Reporting into the Regional Vice President, you will take the lead in project managing the opening of this incredible property. You will also be an active team player in strengthening our Four Seasons Egypt collection; creative in identifying opportunities to maximise development and shared synergy opportunities within the collection. Our General Manager will lead the operational team in delivering consistently high service levels; ensuring our many return guests are warmly welcomed and looked after. You will be responsible for the successful guest service delivery for the hotel and will be an active part of the local community. You will provide leadership and management for all hotel personnel, establish plans of character, integrity and of quality, which results in the continued life, growth and profitability of the business and take responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of our hotel guests and employees.
Desired Candidate Profile
A seasoned luxury hospitality leader with proven General Management experience, and hotel opening and project lead experience. A background that includes Private Residential experience would be a valuable addition to your expertise. You will be a dynamic and hands-on operational leader with a strong passion for people development and an entrepreneurial spirit. A natural brand and guest ambassador, you will bring the confidence to challenge the norm, think creatively, and position the hotel with an innovative and forward-thinking approach to the overall product and guest experience. As a strategic yet highly operational leader, you will have the ability to lead both pre-opening and post-opening budgets, manage complex projects, and establish strong operating procedures during the opening phase. You will bring strong commercial and financial acumen, with a solid background in revenue strategy, yield management, and business development. A deep appreciation for luxury product excellence across both Rooms and Food & Beverage is essential. You will understand how to balance exceptional guest experiences with sound business performance, ensuring the property delivers a world-class product while thoughtfully incorporating local heritage and culture into the overall guest experience. You will be a highly collaborative relationship builder, able to engage effectively with key stakeholders including Ownership, community leaders, travel partners, clients, and local agencies. You will have the ability to partner closely with Ownership on strategic initiatives, drive business relationships that support long-term growth, and articulate a clear and inspiring vision for the future of the hotel.
