Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo for both Pharmacist and Pharmacist Assistant positions. Team members will dispense and prepare medications according to prescriptions, verify dosages, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include counseling patients on proper medication use, answering health-related questions, and providing clear guidance on over-the-counter products. Pharmacists and assistants will support inventory management by checking stock levels, organizing shelves, and monitoring expiry dates. The role also involves operating the point-of-sale system, handling prescriptions efficiently, collaborating with healthcare providers when needed, and maintaining a clean, organized, and patient-friendly pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Pharmacy and Medicine, with the ability to understand prescriptions and ensure safe medication use. Experience or training in Pharmacy Technicians tasks, including assisting with prescription processing and pharmacy operations. Knowledge of Compounding practices and preparation of customized medications, following safety and quality standards. Customer Service skills, including clear communication, patience, and a supportive approach to patient needs. Relevant pharmacy degree or diploma for Pharmacist role; technical or vocational training for Pharmacist Assistant is preferred. Valid local pharmacy license for the Pharmacist position, in accordance with Cairo/Egypt regulations. Ability to work accurately under pressure, with strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or evenings as required, and to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
