Roles & Responsibilities
Provide strong technical support in transmission Ensure proper and timely handling of individual/global complaints related to transmission area Development, Report and implementation of enhancement projects and work streams Implement preventive software correction packages on Transmission nodes to solve Transmission network problems. Provide troubleshooting, analysis & problem solution for critical situations 24x7 2nd line support On Call for Transmission network emergencies reported by internal customers, to fix critical problems. Attending On site Events if needed Implement and report transmission network activities to management for proper follow-up. Follow the escalation & reporting procedure in due time. Attend all assigned Trainings, Sessions, or workshops.
Desired Candidate Profile
- BSc in Telecom engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant field
- Strong IP knowledge, CCNP knowledge is a must (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS and L3VPN)
- Good understanding of MW planning basics
- Good knowledge of MW nodes includes Ericsson, Huawei and SAIE or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of BH nodes/Routers: HU or equivalent
- Good understanding for the GSM/3G/4G network.
- Python Programming knowledge is a plus
- Automation & scripting Tools developing experience is a plus
- Good Communication/Management Skills
